Confidence Intervals

Of course, in the real world we may only do the experiment once and so we have only one such "95% confidence interval". It would be wrong to say - although it is commonly said - that our single calculated confidence interval has a "95% chance" of including the population parameter. Once formed, it either will or it won't (and we will never know).
